Soursop or soursop, graviola or guanabana

It is the fruit of a small tree that grows in Central America. Soursop has a kidney shape and is covered with a green skin divided into fields, each of which has a spike.

The length of the fruit is on average 35 cm, weight from 3 to 6 kg.

The flesh is snow-white and uneven, contains stretching bands of delicate tissue, with numerous black seeds up to 2 cm long.

The aroma of Soursop is similar to pineapple, while the taste has been described as a combination of strawberry and apple with hints of sour citrus, contrasting with a thick, creamy texture reminiscent of banana.
