SOURSOP or soursop, graviola or guanabana

It is the fruit of a small tree that grows in Central America.

Soursop has a kidney shape and is covered with a green skin divided into fields, each of which has a spike. The length of the fruit is on average 35 cm, weight from 3 to 6 kg.

The flesh is snow-white and uneven, contains stretching bands of delicate tissue, with numerous black seeds up to 2 cm long.

The aroma of Soursop is similar to pineapple, while the taste has been described as a combination of strawberry and apple with hints of sour citrus, contrasting with a thick, creamy texture reminiscent of banana.

A method of preparing:
Pour 1 teaspoon of tea into a cup and pour fresh boiling water (100°C).
Brew 3-5 minutes.

Useful tips:
Too long brewing causes the brew to be sour.
Always boil fresh water in the kettle, do not brew tea with boiled water.
Tea leaves need room to expand, use the right size infusers or filters so that the leaves are not compressed during the brewing process.
